Hi! I am Millicent Martin Poole. I am a wife and mom first. But I’m also a speaker, bestselling author, and CEO of Upgrade Your Life. After a near-death experience with an 18-wheeler, I discovered my passion to write and inspire transformation within others. Determined to have a life by design, not default, I began re-designing my life. I now help business professionals, women, who are ready to move into their next level of success – whether that’s changing careers or starting a new business or ministry – get unstuck in their transition, see real results, and unapologetically become more of who they really are.
I have spoken to diverse audiences; from CEOs to the homeless; presenting at corporations, conferences, seminaries, churches, radio and television. My heart pumps passion for inspiring others, providing men and women with success tools for personal and professional development.
I am the author of What Are You Really Running From? It is an empowering non-fiction on courage and purpose, based on the life lessons of the Egyptian slave, Hagar. I have also been featured in publications like Woman’s Touch, Kindred Spirit, Strategic Finance and Lewisville Leader.
“Millicent Martin Poole masterfully transports the biblical story of Hagar…into the lives of every 21st century woman. Need encouragement and motivation to live out your dreams? You MUST read this book!”
